As a child Tim loved cartoons, in all their glorious forms. He found them everywhere: in books, newspapers and magazines, on tv or at the cinema, Tim just loved cartoons. He dreamt that when he grew up, he too might draw and paint, perhaps as an illustrator or an animator. Tim confesses that he never really grew up, and has no immediate plans to.

As well as his love of the art, he also fell in love with the stories. Stories that could transport him to somewhere else, somewhere exciting, somewhere magical, somewhere he could stay.

It has taken many years, but as a self-taught artist and now writer, Tim has combined his passion for art with his love of stories, and can’t now imagine doing anything else. He is eternally grateful that he gets to do that every day. Tim’s hope is simple: that every reader finds a little magic within every story and the confidence to let their imagination run, long after the final page.
